DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas... Trinity River at Liberty affecting Liberty County. For the Trinity River...including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor, Goodrich, Moss Bluff, Liberty...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Trinity River at Liberty. * WHEN...Until early Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 26.5 feet, Roads into some outlying communities above the gage can have up to one foot of water over them. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 26.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:15 AM CDT Friday was 26.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Monday morning and continue falling to 25.7 feet Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 26.3 feet on 04/23/2024. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Hail is a form of precipitation which is recognized by large solid balls or
clumps of ice. Hail is created by thunderstorm clouds with strong updrafts of wind.
As the hailstones remain in the updraft, ice is deposited onto them until their
weight becomes heavy enough for them to fall to the earth's surface.
Hail storms can cause significant damage to crops, aircrafts, and man-made structures,
despite the fact that the duration is usually less than ten minutes.

A mammatus cloud is a cloud with a unique feature which resembles
a web of pouches hanging along the base of the cloud.
In the United States, mammatus clouds tend to form in the warmer months, commonly
in the Midwest and eastern regions.
While they usually form at the bottom of a cumulonimbis cloud, they can also form
under altostratus, altocumulus, stratocumulus, and cirrus clouds. Mammatus clouds
warn that severe weather is close.
