Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 19 at 11:40PM MDT until August 20 at 1:00AM MDT by NWS Great Falls MT
AREAS AFFECTED: Hill, MT; Liberty, MT; Toole, MT
DESCRIPTION: At 1138 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 32 miles east of Sunburst to 18 miles northwest of Joplin to 6 miles west of Chester, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 1130 PM MDT a mesonet station 9 miles north of Lothair recored a 59 MPH wind gust. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Whitlash.
INSTRUCTION: For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Drizzle is precipitation in the form of water droplets which are
smaller than raindrops.
Drizzle is characterized by fine, gently falling droplets and typically does not
impact human habitation in a negative way. The exception to this is freezing drizzle,
a condition where drizzle freezes immediately upon reaching earth's surface.
Freezing drizzle is still less dangerous than freezing rain, but can
potentially result in hazardous road conditions.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
