DESCRIPTION: * WHAT...Heat index values up to 100 expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania. * WHEN...From 11 AM Sunday to 8 PM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat-related illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heat index values and the associated risk of heat-related impacts will be highest on Monday and Tuesday. Limited acclimation will increase the risk of heat-related impacts.
INSTRUCTION: Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and stay in an air-conditioned room. Check up on relatives and neighbors, and provide pets with adequate water and shelter from the sun. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. In addition to the daytime heat, overnight low temperatures will also be very warm and oppressively muggy.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
