DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Washington... Naches River near Naches affecting Yakima County. For the Naches River...including Cliffdell, Naches...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Naches River near Naches. * WHEN...Until later this evening. * IMPACTS...At 17.8 feet, At this level, there will be minor flooding near Naches, Eschback Park, Painted Rock and the north end of Yakima. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:45 PM PDT Wednesday the stage was 17.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:45 PM PDT Wednesday was 18.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this evening and continue falling to 16.1 feet by Saturday. - Flood stage is 17.8 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 17.8 feet on 05/18/2006. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.

Freezing rain is a condition where precipitation which has fallen in the form of
