Denton Creek Near Justin affecting Denton County. Chambers Creek Near Rice affecting Navarro County. Trinity River At Dallas affecting Dallas County. Trinity River Near Long Lake (Oakwood) affecting Anderson, Freestone and Leon Counties. ...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Texas... East Fork Trinity River At McKinney affecting Collin County. Sister Grove Creek Near Blue Ridge affecting Collin County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Denton Creek near Justin. * WHEN...Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Moderate out of bank flooding starts. Water starts to cover portions of FM 407 north of the creek and Tim Donald Rd south of the creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 14.2 feet late this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning to 5.7 feet late Saturday morning. It will rise to 5.8 feet late Saturday morning. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage.

Similar to cirrocumulus clouds, altocumulus clouds are
characterized by cloud patches. They are distinguished by larger cloudlets
than cirrocumulus clouds but are still smaller than stratocumulus clouds.
Altocumulus clouds most commonly form in middle altitudes (between 2 and 5 km)
and may resemble, at times, the shape of a flying saucer.
These uncommon formations, called altocumulus lenticularis, are created by uplift
in the atmosphere and are most often seen in close proximity to mountains.

Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
